Greetings, fellow tennis enthusiasts. It is almost time for another season of outdoor tennis (although you would never know it looking at the snow coming down today!). I am both proud and honored to introduce myself as the new Club Manager of Woodstock Tennis Club. While I know that I can never replace Karen Gill and that I have some large tennis shoes to fill, I will do my best to make Woodstock Tennis Club the best that it can be for you, our members! Although Karen was also the Head Pro, Mitch Adler will now be stepping up to that role. Together, Mitch and I will work to oversee the operations of the club. Continue reading Manager’s Message
Please note: Pricing for the Junior Camp has changed. WTC News (both mailed and on the Forms page) has older (incorrect) pricing. Camp registration form and Juniors page are correct. Sorry for the inconvenience.
As of this posting, it has been 87 days since our fall cleanup day, and we have 87 days until the deadline for early payment of dues for 2018. Only 107 days until WTC’s planned 2018 opening. In case you are a long-range planner, the site is updated – rates and applications are available.
Or, you can wait for our newsletter mailing a little closer to spring.
End-of-season volunteer clean-up is SATURDAY, NOV 4 @ 10AM.
We will be picking up all the benches, chairs, BBQ, and placing them in the clubhouse for winter hibernation. Please come to help! If we get 10 volunteers, it usually just takes an hour or so. If it is pouring rain, the rain date will be Sunday, November 5 at 10 :00 AM.
Oval Tennis is coming to pick up the lines and nets sometime the week of Nov 6th. You can play until they come, but please vacate the courts if they arrive and you are on court.
New Management (same ownership – the members!)
After 9 years, Karen Gill is leaving the Head Pro position. Mitch Adler will return as Head Pro in 2018. Mitch and Steve Josephs will be giving indoor lessons at BAT this winter, so please email or call them.
Sharon Crego will be the Club Manager in 2018.
